For your upper body, continue to use light strokes toward your heart. For your stomach, you want to brush in the natural direction your intestines flow, right to left. Be sure to brush over the top of your breasts where a large concentration of lymph nodes lies. When brushing your neck , use gentle downward sweeps, avoiding the sensitive skin of your face.

Always brush your skin gently. You may find your skin is sensitive to the brush at first, but over time, your skin will become more resilient to the brushing. When finished, your skin should appear slightly pink, but not red or irritated and it should not be painful while you are brushing.
